ICTSI subsidiary Victoria International Container Terminal Ltd. wins the 26-year concession to develop and operate Melbourne’s third international container terminal at Webb Dock.
ICTSI wins contract to operate and expand the Port of Umm Qasr’s container handling facility through a long-term partnership with the General Company for Ports in Iraq. This is named Basra Gateway Terminal.
ICTSI wins the concession for a new terminal along the Congo River in Matadi, Democratic Republic of the Congo.  ICTSI enters a joint venture with La Societe De Gestion Immobiliere Lengo to establish ICTSI DR Congo S.A. The terminal is named Matadi Gateway Terminal (MGT).
ICTSI wins the International Public Bidding Process for the Design, Financing, Construction, Maintenance, Operation and Exploitation of the Specialized Container and General Cargo Terminal of Puerto Cortes in Honduras. This is ICTSI’s sixth terminal in Latin America.
ICTSI acquires a 65-percent stake in Hijo International Port Services, Inc. (HIPS), owner and developer of the Hijo International Port in Tagum City, Davao del Norte in southern Philippines.
ICTSI acquires 35 percent of the total issued capital of Pakistan International Container Terminal Ltd., operator at the Port of Karachi.
ICTSI opens the Manila International Container Terminal’s Berth 6, a USD200 million investment, again ahead of its contractual obligation. The new berth increases the terminal’s capacity to 2.5 million TEUs, the largest in the Philippines and among ICTSI’s terminals worldwide.
ICTSI Capital BV enters into a share purchase agreement with Luka Rijeka DD to purchase 51 percent interest in the Adriatic Gate Container Terminal (AGCT), which operates the Bradjica Container Terminal in Rijeka, Croatia. AGCT has a 30-year concession agreement to operate and develop the terminal.
Mexico’s Administracion Portuaria Integral de Manzanillo, S.A. declares ICTSI the winner of the 34-year concession for the development and operation of the second Specialized Container Terminal in the Port of Manzanillo.
Philippine President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo inaugurates the SCT’s expanded container area during her state visit to Brazil. ICTSI is the largest Philippine private sector investment in South America´s largest economy.
