Sociedad Puerto Industrial de Aguadulce S.A.
Puerto Aguadulce is the newest terminal at the Port of Buenaventura. With its modern and fully-integrated services, the terminal is best positioned to serve the growing Asia trade.
As the main gateway of Colombia, the Port of Buenaventura plays a key role in the movement of export and import cargo in the country. Located in the Valle del Cauca area – known for its sugarcane industry – the port is the main gateway of Colombian sugar, as well as the world-famous Colombian coffee.
- The only major port city in the Colombian Pacific coast with privileged access to the "Golden Triangle" of the Colombian economy comprised of the cities of Bogota D.C., Medellin and Cali
- Accessibility and logistical advantage to main importers and exporters with an exclusive access road to bypass city traffic
- CFS facility with rack-pallet positions and specialized areas for coffee and sugar inventory
- Inspection and pre-inspection area with dedicated on-site offices for authorities and pallet scanners allowing 16 simultaneous inspections for the whole area
The Aguadulce Peninsula is located across the channel of the Port of Buenaventura — the first major port on the Pacific before and after the Panama Canal, and the only port on Colombia's Pacific coast.
