Cavite Gateway Terminal

The Cavite Gateway Terminal (CGT) is a roll-on/roll-off container barge terminal that provides Southern Luzon with another route to and from the Port of Manila via Manila Bay sea lanes. It links Cavite and Manila ports for international cargo while supporting domestic cargo movements between Luzon and other Philippine islands.

An industrial powerhouse, Cavite province hosts a multinational range of export processing/manufacturing locators, including American, Japanese, Korean, Singaporean, Swiss, and Belgian investors. CGT offers faster, cost-effective maritime links to Cavite locators, whose outputs include top electronic exports (e.g., auto and audio parts), garments, toys and packaging materials. Effectively bypassing limited road access for cargo transport, CGT helps draw more investments in Cavite economic zones and urban centers.
