Tecon Suape recognized as a Green Company

The Commercial Board of Pernambuco, in collaboration with the Secretariat of Environment and Sustainability and the State Environmental Agency of the State of Pernambuco, recently conferred Tecon Suape with the Green Company Seal. 

Valid for two years, the certification recognizes the company’s commitment to sustainable practices and compliance with environmental norms, standards, regulations and socio-environmental responsibility. The certificate was presented by Pernambuco Governor Raquel Lyra to Javier Ramirez, Tecon Suape chief executive officer on 5 June.

Tecon Suape continually seeks to follow the right path, promote environmental awareness and sustainability, and advance its ESG practices. The company managed to reduce its carbon emissions by 21.8 percent in 2023, reaffirming its role as a leader in sustainable port operations.
