ICTSI EMEA Head meets with Sindh Governor

Hans-Ole Madsen, ICTSI Senior Vice President and Regional Head for Europe, Middle East and Africa, recently paid a courtesy call to the office of Sindh Governor Imran Ismail.

Accompanied by Khurram Aziz Khan, Pakistan International Container Terminal (PICT) Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Madsen exchanged ideas with Governor Ismail on the current business environment in the country and PICT’s potential as the only publicly listed container terminal operator in the country.  They were joined by Mahmood Moulvi, Advisor to the Minister of Maritime Affairs.

A discussion was also held on the opportunity for PICT to further expand. Governor Ismail and Mr. Moulvi extpressed support for PICT’s initiatives to help Pakistan’s economy and commended the Company’s customer-centric solutions that promote ease of doing business as well as advancements in the port and terminal industry.

The two officials also welcomed ICTSI for future ventures in the country.  Both parties mutually affirmed emerging development projects and long-term ventures in the region that benefit the neighboring communities.
