CMSA promotes COVID-19 vaccination for employees

A total of 110 employees of Contecon Manzanillo have been fully vaccinated as part of the company’s support for the vaccination program of the state of Colima.

Vaccination for CMSA employees started in March in coordination with the Sanitary Jurisdiction No. 3 and is targeted for completion by October. Given the rate of increase in the number of COVID cases in Colima, the company looks to have as many vaccinated employees as soon as possible to curb the spread of the disease. CMSA is also reinforcing the implementation of health measures to ensure safe operations at the terminal.

As of 28 July, 19.1 percent or 24.4 million of Mexico’s population have been fully vaccinated. In Colima, 97,027 of the population have already received their second dose. As part of the COVAX initiative, Mexico has been vaccinating its citizens aged 18 and above with Sinovac, Pfizer, AstraZeneca and CanSino BIO, which are randomly distributed by some states including Colima.
