CMSA bags ESR award anew
Contecon Manzanillo (CMSA) has received the Empresa Socialmente Responsible (ESR) award for the sixth year in a row. Given by the Mexican Center for Philanthropy (CEMEFI) and AliaRSE, the citation honors companies that follow responsible practices in the workplace, environment and community.
Since 2020, CMSA has continued to meet the standards needed to earn the ESR badge. Along with growing its terminal operations—most recently with the arrival of the tallest quay cranes in the Americas—CMSA has also supported projects like student scholarships, school repairs, and environmental activities. The terminal also ensures fair treatment and safety for all its workers.
With more robust infrastructure and continued support for local community programs, CMSA shows that growth and responsibility can go hand in hand. The sixth ESR award highlights the terminal’s steady efforts to do good business while making a positive impact on its people, the environment, and community.
Francisco Santana, CMSA HSSE & CSR manager, received the ESR award.
