BGT joins the 2022 IBBC Dubai Autumn Conference

Basra Gateway Terminal (BGT) was among the sponsors of the annual Iraq Britain Business Council (IBBC) Dubai Autumn Conference held from 10 to 11 November at the Address Dubai Marina.
 
IBBC President Baroness Nicholson, in her welcome address, highlighted Iraq’s importance for Britain and said that both countries enjoy good and strong relations as evidenced by the relations of IBBC members from both the United Kingdom and Iraq. 
 
His Excellency Juma Al Kait, assistant secretary for international trade – UAE Ministry of Economy, also welcomed the delegates to the UAE. He noted that trade between Iraq and UAE had grown more than 60 percent in the last year and is set to continue growing in the future.
 
Hosting multiple panels that focused on finance, energy, education and skills, future tech, privatization and business in Basra and Kurdistan, the event drew delegates from all regions of Iraq including KRI, Basra and Baghdad.
