AGCT welcomes its largest Ocean Alliance vessel

Adriatic Gate Container Terminal (AGCT) recently serviced APL GWANGYANG - the largest Ocean Alliance vessel to call Port of Rijeka.

With a length overall of 349.27 meters, the 10,106-TEU capacity ship is part of the Phoenician Express Service that offers an unrivaled direct link between Asia Koper, Trieste, and Rijeka. The service is connected to the arrivals and departures of regular railway lines from Hungary, Serbia, and Bosnia (on demand).  CMA CGM, which operates APL GWANGYANG, and COSCO, have also designed their own railway services to the hinterland countries in line with the service.

Larger vessels continue to cascade into the trades, joining the largest vessels presently calling AGCT like the 15,000-TEU H-Class vessels deployed in another direct weekly Far East service by the 2M Alliance.
