VCT HR completes learning immersion at MICT

The Human Resources team of Visayas Container Terminal (VCT) recently took part in a learning immersion at the Manila International Container Terminal (MICT) to strengthen HR practices and enhance collaboration between the two terminals.

The immersion focused on talent development, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, HR operations, and labor relations. Through discussions and a guided terminal tour, the VCT team gained insights into MICT’s workforce management strategies and the role of HR in supporting the country’s largest trading gateway.

A highlight of the immersion was the "Ops for Non-Ops" session led by the MICT Operations team, which provided a better understanding of terminal processes and workflows. The session aimed to equip HR personnel with a broader perspective on operational challenges and workforce needs.
