Visayas Container Terminal (VCT) actively participated in the “Charting Course for Regional Economic Prosperity” Export Business Forum last 13 September 2024 held in Iloilo City.

The forum, an effort among Local Economic Development and Investment Promotion (LEDIP) Iloilo, the Department of Agriculture (DA), and VCT, aimed to foster collaboration among business groups, LGUs, and various sectors to drive regional economic growth through exports.

Key discussions included identifying the region’s potential export opportunities, addressing challenges to export competitiveness, and leveraging opportunities in the global market.

VCT's commitment to enhance its efficiency and capacity aligns with its goal of becoming a key trade gateway for Western Visayas, supporting the region's economic development by facilitating the export of goods from Iloilo.
