TecPlata strengthens commitment to workplace safety

TecPlata carried out several initiatives last April to commemorate Occupational Safety and Health month and reinforce its commitment to employee safety and well-being.
 
In a series of communications, the management championed the importance of a safe work environment by emphasizing the use of safety equipment and sharing effective safety practices, among other reminders.
 
A fire drill was also conducted to prepare employees for potential emergencies. The exercise tested the terminal’s emergency protocols, leading to the successful evacuation of personnel to the designated assembly points.
 
Last but not the least, the Health and Safety Team organized cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first aid training. The interactive session gave employees critical skills to respond swiftly and efficiently in situations requiring medical intervention.
 
These proactive measures enable TecPlata to continue fostering a culture of safety and preparedness.
