SPIA honored at the LatAmDigital Awards

Sociedad Puerto Industrial de Aguadulce (SPIA) was conferred the Best Cybersecurity Education Program award at the 11th LatAmDigital 2024 Awards. 
 
The recognition highlights SPIA’s commitment to safeguarding information and training employees, effectively positioning the company as a leader in cybersecurity. The award-winning program, which was carried out during the Cybersecurity Week in Puerto Aguadulce, is a 360° internal communication strategy that encompasses digital actions (talks, online games, awareness videos), in-person activations (sketches with an acting group, dynamics) and maintenance (digital and printed reminder pieces). 
 
“This award is a great achievement for Puerto Aguadulce and reflects the hard work and dedication of our team to ensure the security of information and that of our employees,” said Alvaro Otero, SPIA general manager. 
 
The LatAmDigital Awards is one of the most important recognitions in Latin American. More than 1,300 applications were received from 463 institutions and companies across 18 countries for this edition – an indication of the competitiveness and significance of the awards.
