SBITC ignites fire safety awareness

Subic Bay International Terminals Corp. (SBITC) observed Fire Prevention Month with a day of education and activities, themed "Make Fire Safety a Priority."

Employees participated in an awareness session led by the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Fire Department, focusing on fire prevention and safety procedures. 

Following the session, five teams competed in a Mini Fire Olympics, showcasing firefighting skills in simulated scenarios. The event, which included challenges like a fire hose relay and controlled fire extinguishing, emphasized teamwork and preparedness. Participants received prizes, with the winning team awarded a portable tire inflator.

SBITC encourages everyone to apply the lessons learned during Fire Prevention Month for a safer and more prepared community.
