SBITC cited for green initiatives

Subic Bay International Terminals received the Emerald Award at Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority’s (SBMA) first Green Anchor Awards Ceremony, recognizing its environmental initiatives within the Subic Bay Freeport Zone.

The award, presented under the SBMA Logistics and Maritime Sector, acknowledges organizations that demonstrate a consistent commitment to environmental stewardship.

ICTSI’s Subic terminals were cited for integrating sustainability practices into its operations, including programs that support marine protection, resource conservation, and community engagement.

SBMA noted that these efforts have encouraged wider participation from shipping lines, logistics partners, and other industry stakeholders in the Freeport.

The company continues to align its operations with sustainability goals and remains involved in environmental programs that contribute to the Subic Bay community.
