Rio Brasil Terminal expands CMA CGM partnership

Mercosul Line and Log-In’s BRACO/AMAZONAS service is operated by three vessels: the Mercosul Itajai, the Log-In Polaris and the CMA CGM Malta

Rio Brasil Terminal at the Port of Rio de Janeiro, is now receiving calls from the BRACO/AMAZONAS service.

The weekly cabotage service operated by CMA CGM’s Brazilian subsidiary, Mercosul Lines, connects Rio de Janeiro with the southeast and other greater regions of the country. The BRACO segment is a partnership between Mercosul Line and Log-In.

Calling Rio Brasil Terminal every Sunday, the BRACO/AMAZONAS service provides customers with the best option for domestic distribution. Both services are growing consistently given the strong operational reliability.

Aside from the new cabotage service, CMA CGM’s Brazil Express 1 service connecting Brazil, Mexico and the United States of America has also been calling Rio Brasil Terminal since May this year.
