Pakistan International Container Terminal (PICT) recently hosted its annual dinner for partners, stakeholders and members of the trade community. The corporate gathering serves as a platform for members of the industry to discuss issues and exchange ideas on matters of common interests.
The honorable Syed Faisal Ali Subzwari, Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs, and Hans-Ole Madsen, ICTSI Regional Head – Europe, Middle East and Africa, graced the event, which was also attended by notable dignitaries and high-ranking officials of the Karachi Port Trust, customs, trade, government authorities, valued clients and PICT senior management.
The event also served as a catalyst for strengthening business and industry relations while also highlighting PICT’s crucial role and collaborative efforts to drive development within the industry.
“We are pleased that the country's ministries and trade communities are working with ICTSI Pakistan. The recognition received by PICT from our trading partners – for its role in boosting their economies – is a source of inspiration for us. We continue to work hard to raise the industry standard and put the country’s best interest in mind,” said Mr. Madsen.
