PICT launches online documentation system for customers
Pakistan International Container Terminal (PICT) has rolled out its online documentation system for customers as part of initiatives to streamline services and improve the ease of doing business using digital platforms.
The electronic documentation system enables clients to manage documentation requirements of their transactions remotely and securely 24/7. It also enables customers to generate proforma invoices for subsequent online payments.
“We develop digital platforms to make transactions at the terminal easier for our clients. These systems are secure and convenient, providing real-time verification of documentation and payments,” says Khurram Aziz Khan, PICT chief executive officer.
“As an integral trade gateway for international trade, PICT constantly aims to raise the bar for customer service at the Port of Karachi and expand the country’s economic presence globally through integrated logistics solutions and sustainable business practices like the paperless documentation system,” he adds.
