PH ambassador-designate visits PICT

Philippine Ambassador Designate Maria Agnes M. Cervantes recently visited Pakistan International Container Terminal (PICT) and was received by Khurram Aziz Khan, PICT chief executive officer.

Mr. Khan briefed Ambassador Cervantes on the Company’s initiatives to promote sustainable trade in the region through the leadership of the ICTSI Group. The two leaders also discussed emerging economic opportunities that PICT could add value to through increased bilateral trade between Pakistan and the Philippines.

Mr. Khan also talked about PICT’s favorable relations with partners and stakeholders, which enable the Company to convert opportunities into thriving and mutually beneficial partnerships.

For her part, Ambassador Cervantes recognized PICT’s intensive efforts to help improve trade relations between the two countries.
