OPC renews ISO certifications

Operadora Portuaria Centroamericana (OPC) has successfully renewed its certifications for ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001 standards, enabling Puerto Cortés to maintain its position as the only port in the CA-4 region with these integrated certifications.

Jhuez International Group conducted the evaluation and audit process, confirming OPC’s adherence to international standards. The certifications, first obtained in 2017 and renewed every three years, highlights OPC’s dedication to quality, occupation safety and environmental care. OPC’s third Integrated Management System recertification, which will be valid until 2026, underscores the company’s commitment to excellence, impacting services, suppliers, authorities and the community.

Maintaining these certifications involves continuous improvement, risk identification, control application and personal awareness. It contributes to OPC’s growth and reputation and recognizes employees’ commitment to ensuring the safe and efficient operations of the terminal.
