New terminal tractors for BGT

Basra Gateway Terminal (BGT) expanded its landside equipment fleet with the recent acquisition of 10 new terminal tractors.

Manufactured by Terberg, the new tractors will further enhance BGT’s landside operations by improving cargo handling efficiency and reducing turnaround times.

“Among the primary motivations behind expanding our equipment fleet is to meet the growing demand of our customers. As our business expands and diversifies, so do the requirements of those we serve,” said Romeo Salvador, BGT chief executive officer.

“By investing in new equipment, we can ensure that we have the capacity and capability to fulfill orders promptly, maintain high quality standards, and exceed customer expectations,” he added.

BGT sets the standard in Iraq’s port industry with its commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement of its operations and services.
