John Largo, VCT general manager, led the port tour and highlighted the terminal’s role in improving trade efficiency in the Visayas region. The visit provided an opportunity to showcase VCT’s ongoing improvements and its contribution to Iloilo’s economic growth. Since the start of VCT’s operation last year, International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI) has made significant investments in VCT’s infrastructure and equipment, including two mobile harbor cranes – the first in the region. With an annual capacity of 243,000 TEUs, the terminal is well-positioned to accommodate growing trade volumes.
VCT and ICTSI are committed to strengthen the region’s trade and logistics network.
