Ambassador Morales, accompanied by Consul Ralph Vincent C. Abarquez of the Philippines in Melbourne and Attaché Ceres M. Martinez of the Philippine Embassy in Australia, witnessed firsthand VICT's innovative and sustainable container handling solutions.
Bruno Porchietto, VICT chief executive officer, welcomed the delegation and highlighted the terminal’s position as the only fully automated container terminal in the southern hemisphere: “Victoria International Container Terminal is International Container Terminal Services Inc’s (ICTSI) largest investment in the southern hemisphere and the largest investment by a Philippine company here in Australia. We are committed to strengthening our relationships with the Philippine Embassy and the Consulate General here in Melbourne to drive the prosperity for our communities and businesses.”
Discussions focused on VICT's commitment to operational excellence, advanced technology, and industry growth. The visit underscored the strong ties between ICTSI, the Philippines, and Australia, and reaffirmed VICT's dedication to promote sustainable growth and economic collaboration through technology and partnerships.
