MMT partners with Red Cross for blood drive

 
Manila Multipurpose Terminal (MMT) recently partnered with the Philippine Red Cross for another bloodletting activity – the second for the year. The activity brought together company officers and staff in an effort to support those in need of blood.

Spearheaded by the Human Resources Department’s Health and Wellness Section, the activity ties up with the company’s volunteerism program. A total 13,050 cubic centimeters of blood were collected from 29 successful donors.

As part of the activity, the Philippine Red Cross underscored the health benefits of donating blood like the complimentary blood screening, improved cardiovascular function, and enhanced blood circulation.
