MMT hosts work immersion for PH Commercial Team

Manila Multipurpose Terminal (MMT) recently hosted a work immersion program for the PH Commercial Team for bulk, breakbulk and general cargo handling operations.

The session started with a terminal presentation by the MMT Commercial group, followed by a port tour highlighting the berth area, yard, storage facility, and actual cargo handling activities.
The immersion program aims to impart the importance of MMT cargo operations, vessel requirements, equipment availability, safety measures, internal processes and terminal operating system applications that was discussed by department heads from Account Management, Safety, Engineering, Information Technology and Operations.

With the comprehensive overview of handling bulk, breakbulk and general cargo, the program enhances understanding of non-containerized cargo operations. It also shows how cargo is managed safely and efficiently, minimizing the risk of damage or loss during delivery to its destination.
