MICT Security honors outstanding officers

The Manila International Container Terminal Security team recognized 45 security officers and personnel from RVV Security Services and Seraph Security Services for their outstanding performance and contributions to port security during an awards ceremony last 13 December 2024.

The ceremony featured three award categories: Huwarang Alagad ng Pantalan (Exemplary Port Servant) for top monthly performers; Special Awards for service beyond the call of duty, including emergency response for the recent fire incident in Isla Puting Bato; and Bagani ng Pantalan (Port Warrior) for the year’s top achievers.

Two officers received the Bagani ng Pantalan award for significant contributions, including recovering assets from land-grabbing syndicates and implementing emergency protocols along the South Access Road, which led to prompt restoration and minimal disruption of business operations.

Jose Carlo Javier, MICT Human Resources director; Santiago Fuentes III, Terminal Operations director; and Christine Airoso, HR Services and Equipment head, attended the ceremony.

In addition to certificates, awardees each received 10-kilogram sacks of rice and gift certificates. The two Bagani ng Pantalan recipients received additional groceries.

This annual awards ceremony underscores the Company’s commitment to honoring the dedication and exceptional service of its security officers and fostering a culture of excellence.
