MICT managers level up with enhanced leadership skills

The second "Improving your Management Skills" training session at MICT was a resounding success. Participants engaged in deeper learning of leadership, emotional intelligence, time management and stakeholder management.
Facilitated by Phillip Marsham, MICT executive director, the session provided practical strategies for effective delegation. Mr. Marsham emphasized the importance of distributing tasks to subordinates to increase efficiency, improve team performance and foster growth. Participants learned to clearly define tasks, set expectations and provide support to their team members.
The training also explored techniques to for improve communication, build empathy and manage workplace relationships through emotional intelligence. Participants gained insights into time management techniques, such as prioritizing tasks, setting realistic goals and avoiding common timewasters.
Participants were enthusiastic, leaving with enhanced skills and confidence in their management roles. By strengthening their delegation skills, managers can now empower their teams, improve productivity, and create a more engaging work environment.
