MICT boosts cargo handling capacity with new tractors

The Manila International Container Terminal (MICT) continues to boost operational capacity with the addition of 11 new terminal tractors. Manufactured by Terberg, the new equipment was officially handed over to the Operations Equipment Team on 12 February. This investment will optimize workflow, reduce turnaround times, and improve service reliability. Present at the turnover ceremony were members of the MICT Engineering and Operations Equipment teams (from left): Darren Saligue, equipment planning, audit and documentation manager; Nemeline Esguerra, equipment improvement and projects manager; Arthur Valdez, equipment section head; David Wolfovitch, engineering director; Al Kheir Al Mohanad, MES advisor; and Edromel Luna, MES manager.
