MHC handles record volume in March

Truck units were among the major contributors to Manila Harbor Center’s record monthly volume in March.

Manila Harbor Center (MHC) recorded the most productive month in the terminal’s history last March.

Major contributors to the record volume include steel billets, steel coils, soybean meal, truck units, and vibro sand, among other bulk cargo. As the Philippine economy continues to gradually improve, MHC’s vessel and cargo accommodation has been steadily increasing to meet the increased trade demand.

“With the continuous improvement in productivity, facility expansion, rigorous equipment maintenance, and most importantly, the tireless effort of the men and women of MHC, we are able to achieve this new operational milestone,” said Phillip Marsham, MHC global director.

The landmark achievement confirms the terminal’s exceptional performance and reflects the trust and confidence of port users. The company commits to continue providing exceptional services to customers and all stakeholders.

MHC runs the largest international breakbulk and bulk operations at the Port of Manila.
