Sharmine Cuizon (fourth from left), MCT commercial specialist; Paul John Dagoc (fifth from left), MCT commercial manager; and Charmaine Pajo (sixth from left), MCT human resources and admin manager, receive the award from the PHIVIDEC board of directors led by MGen. Jesus Manangquil (retired, far right), PIA administrator and chief executive officer.

The PHIVIDEC Industrial Authority (PIA) cited Mindanao Container Terminal for being its highest revenue contributor in 2022.

Conferred during the locators’ fellowship night in August as part of the government owned and controlled corporation’s 48th anniversary celebration, the award recognizes MCT for its invaluable commitment to progressive business, which immensely contributed to PIA’s success in making the area progressive.

For MCT, the recognition serves as a testament to its world-class terminal operations and services that helped improve PIA’s revenue collection.

PIA also recognized other locators for their exemplary contributions to the development of the industrial estate: Philippine Sinter Corporation received the Pioneering Locator award, Steag State Power Incorporated received the Best Corporate Social Responsibility award, while FDC-Misamis Corporation bagged the Biggest Investment award.
