ICTSI South Pacific in Papua New Guinea continues to champion technological advancement with its sponsorship of the Hack4Change 2024.
ICTSI South Pacific’s support underscores its belief in the power of innovation in driving positive change.
“Our platinum sponsorship is a testament to our commitment to fostering innovation and technological advancement. We believe in the bright minds participating in Hack4Change and are confident their contributions will drive significant change,” said Nicky Pelosi, ICTSI South Pacific operations manager.
“Our support is more than an investment in an event; it’s an investment in the future. By supporting this platform, we are helping shape a future where technology and innovation play crucial roles in solving societal challenges,” he added.
Organized by the PNG Digital ICT Cluster and Unitech, the hackathon brought together young and innovative minds to address pressing societal issues with the help of technology. The event promoted problem-solving skills, collaboration, community spirit, teamwork, mentorship and investor readiness for PNG’s entrepreneurs and students.
George Gware, ICTSI South Pacific chief operating officer, was also featured in the Readiness for Green Financing Hackathon.
The biannual Hack4Change 2024 was held from 12 to 15 July at the Papua New Guinea University of Technology in Lae, Morobe Province.
