ICTSI South Pacific conducts cyberattack drill
ICTSI South Pacific recently held a cyber incident response tabletop exercise to test and boost the company’s preparedness for a cyberattack.
The drill helped participants improve their focus, collaboration and ability to think on their feet. Commenting on their performance, Robert Maxwell, ICTSI South Pacific chief executive officer, said: “We witnessed incredible concentration and eagerness to learn. And, of course, we discovered that everyone is quite an accomplished public speaker-particularly during the feedback session.”
The outcome of the drill will pave the way for the publication of a comprehensive ICTSI South Pacific Cyber Incident Response Plan, which will encompass the cyber emergency response plan, business continuity plan, IT disaster recovery plan, and critical communication plan. This initiative will help ensure that ICTSI South Pacific remains prepared for any future challenge.
