ICTSI, Razon Group firms earn honors in 2025 FinanceAsia awards

International Container Terminal Services Inc. (ICTSI) led the Razon Group’s strong showing in the 2025 FinanceAsia Best Companies Poll, earning top distinctions across multiple categories.

ICTSI took home the Gold award in the Transportation category, citing its performance in global port operations and logistics. Carlos Cruz, chief operating officer of ICTSI’s Contecon Manzanillo terminal in Mexico, was named Best COO, also receiving a Gold citation. The company also earned Silver in the Best Large Cap Company category and Bronze for its initiatives in diversity, equality and inclusion.

Other Razon-led companies also received recognition.

Bloomberry Resorts Corp., which operates Solaire Resort, won Gold in both the Consumer Services and Best Investor Relations categories. It also secured Silver in Real Estate and Best Small Cap Company. Estella Tuason-Occeña, Bloomberry’s chief financial officer, received Bronze in the CFO category.

Manila Water Company, Inc. was awarded Gold in both the Utility Services and Best Mid Cap Company categories, reflecting its performance in service delivery and financial management.

Apex Mining Co. Inc. received Bronze in the Basic Materials category, marking its presence among notable performers in the sector.

FinanceAsia’s annual poll gathers responses from investors, fund managers and analysts across the Asia-Pacific region. Companies are assessed by industry and market capitalization based on corporate governance, transparency, investor relations and overall management.

The awards reflect the Razon Group’s continued influence across key sectors in the Philippines, including infrastructure, utilities, mining and hospitality.
