ICTSI Foundation’s outreach for Kaisahang Buhay Foundation

After carefully considering the more relaxed public health restrictions under the “new normal,” the ICTSI Foundation resumed its outreach initiatives under the ICTSI Employee Volunteerism Program.

In March, Foundation personnel and volunteers from MICT Anchorage distributed rice, canned goods and meals to 85 in-house clients and community beneficiaries of Kaisahang Buhay Foundation, Inc.  Other donations including appliances, kitchen tools, printing equipment and school supplies were also turned over during the Entrustment Ceremony in Cubao, Quezon City.

Danilo Macalagay, Jr., program supervisor at Kaisahang Buhay Foundation, officially welcomed and thanked the volunteers and the Foundation. To further express their gratitude, Independent Living and Educational Assistance scholars presented a short dance number. Three beneficiaries also expressed their appreciation.

Established in 1975, Kaisahang Buhay Foundation, Inc. is a nongovernment organization that provides child, family, community welfare and development services.
