ICTSI Foundation, VCT collaborate on mental health initiative for educators

The ICTSI Foundation, in collaboration with Visayas Container Terminal, organized a two-day psychosocial support training for educators in Iloilo City.

Thirty teaching and nonteaching personnel from Bo. Obrero National High School participated in the training program, designed to enhance their understanding of trauma and suicidality and equip them with skills for providing psychosocial intervention, care, and support to their students and colleagues.

Experienced psychotherapists and counselors Henry and Lisa Manuncia from ECare Compassion Ministries, Inc. facilitated the training to help participants address the growing concern of mental health issues, especially among adolescents.  The program recognizes the critical role educators play in supporting student well-being.

Located within the vicinity of Visayas Container Terminal, Bo. Obrero National High School hosts 15 ICTSI Foundation high school scholars.
