The ICTSI Foundation and Francisco Bangoy Central Elementary School in Davao recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the implementation of the school’s alternative learning program.
The MOA is part of the Foundation’s continuing support for the Department of Education’s Alternative Learning System (ALS), a parallel learning system that caters to out-of-school youth.
The Foundation also donated school supplies and information technology equipment to the school to help maximize the learning opportunities for the more than 250 students under its ALS program. Aside from providing educational assistance to ALS students, the Foundation also offers ALS teachers and volunteers regular training to help them become more effective facilitators.
