ICTSI Foundation, SCIPSI bring Christmas joy to GenSan children's home

The ICTSI Foundation (IF) and South Cotabato Integrated Port Services, Inc. (SCIPSI) brought Christmas cheer to 52 underprivileged children under the care of institutions supervised by the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) in General Santos City. Children enjoyed meals and treats from food carts while mascots, a magic show, bubble show, and fun games kept them entertained. IF's high school and college scholars also volunteered to help and interact with the kids.

IF and SCIPSI also donated computer sets, printing equipment, appliances, furniture, medical supplies, and groceries to sustain the centers' operations and to improve the delivery of their child-care services.

Outreach beneficiaries came from Bahay Pag-Asa, a rehabilitation center for children in conflict with the law; Substitute Home for Girls, a temporary shelter for children-victims of abuse and neglect; Life Home Mindanao Inc., a shelter for abandoned and orphaned children; and Children's Crisis Center, a shelter for street children.
