ICTSI Foundation, MCT cited for MisOr educational assistance program

The ICTSI Foundation and Mindanao Container Terminal (MCT) was recognized by the Department of Education’s Misamis Oriental (MisOr) Division during the 2024 Stakeholders’ Convergence and Awarding Ceremony held at Chali’s Beach Resort in Cagayan de Oro City on September 27.

The recognition highlighted their support and contributions to improving access, quality, and governance of basic education programs, as well as their role in delivering projects and activities in Misamis Oriental. Between 2022 and 2024, the Foundation donated 272 smart TVs, benefiting 12,532 students and 399 teachers. The Foundation and MCT plan to complete the digitalization of all classrooms in Misamis Oriental public schools by 2025.

MCT and the ICTSI Foundation reaffirmed their commitment to continue delivering programs that aim to improve the quality of education in Misamis Oriental.
