ICTSI Foundation, BINHI support English literacy in Manila schools

At the close of the 2024-2025 school year, the ICTSI Foundation partnered with the BINHI English Literacy Foundation to conduct the final reading assessment for selected students at P. Guevarra Elementary School and Herminigildo J. Atienza Elementary School in Manila.

Employee volunteers from ICTSI Global Corporate and the Manila International Container Terminal joined BINHI staff in evaluating students’ reading skills after they completed a six-month literacy intervention program.

Students were recognized during the BINHI Culminating Activity for completing the English Literacy course. Those who showed the most improvement in reading skills received awards.

The partnership between the ICTSI Foundation and BINHI aims to strengthen English literacy among school-aged children and will continue in the next academic year.
