ICTSI cites top suppliers at 17th ISQA

International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI) honored its top-performing suppliers during the 17th ICTSI Supplier Quality Awards (ISQA), held July 10 at Admiral Hotel Manila. The event brought together key partners to celebrate their contributions under the theme “Bridging Excellence: Fostering Connections Across Strategic Locations.”

For the first time, the awards extended beyond ICTSI’s direct suppliers to include those supporting its Philippine terminals. Representatives from Manila Multipurpose Terminal (MMT), Manila North Harbour Port Inc. (NorthPort), Subic Bay International Terminals (SBITC), Visayas Container Terminal (VCT), and Mindanao Container Terminal (MCT) presented awards to their respective suppliers. Procurement teams from other Razon Group companies—Solaire Resort, Prime Infra, and Manila Water—also joined the event.

Damien Huppert, ICTSI vice president for Global Procurement, underscored the importance of shared values in supplier relationships. He cited the company’s Supplier Code of Business Conduct and Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy as key frameworks that promote integrity, transparency, and mutual respect.

Phillip Marsham, ICTSI Philippine Sub-region executive director, emphasized the strategic role of the company’s terminal network in enhancing operational efficiency and commercial reach. He credited supplier partnerships for helping strengthen ICTSI’s capabilities.

Kum Chai Shin, ICTSI Global Information Systems Security director, discussed the impact of cyber threats on the supply chain and highlighted the role of suppliers in building a secure and resilient network.
