Global HSSE holds Human Factors training

Forty HSSE heads and operations personnel across the ICTSI Group took part in the Human Factors Analysis Training for Incident Investigation seminar organized by Global HSSE.

The virtual program, held last December and January, provided participants with a sound understanding of contemporary human factor issues in safety-critical industries like the port industry. The training is part of the Group’s continuous effort to enhance safety performance and prevent costly incidents.

Led by renowned safety expert Dr. Graham Edkins, the training focused on case study analysis to better comprehend the causes and consequences of human errors. It also emphasized the significance of examining facts and evidence related to errors, error-producing conditions, and loss of control, with the goal of equipping participants with practical strategies that would allow them to design error-tolerant solutions and enhance critical risk controls.
