GCLA starts briefing series on receipt of legal documents, processes

ICTSI Global Legal Affairs (GCLA), through Atty. Mark C. Acoymo, held a kick-off seminar on Receipt of Legal Documents and Processes last 24 October and 17 November.

As part of the GCLA’s Legal Education initiative, the seminar supports and highlights the application of the Memo on Receipt of Legal Documents issued on 31 July 2023. The memo intends to reduce, if not eliminate, litigation risks in addressing legal processes through the timely referral of such to the appropriate handling departments. Scenarios, exercises and relevant concepts on legal documents were also discussed, which allowed participants to interactively relate to real-life experiences.

Held at the Quay Room of the ICTSI Administration Building, the seminar catered to personnel from the Administrative Services Department, Manila International Container Terminal (MICT) reception security and ICTSI Corporate Group administrators and coordinators.

GCLA will schedule sessions for MICT, Philippine subsidiaries, and appropriate corporate departments in coordination with Global Tax and Global Human Resource as a continuing program.
