CMSA reports improved 2024 results

Contecon Manzanillo, one of the most important terminals in the Port of Manzanillo, had an outstanding 2024, marked by a 14 percent increase in the total volume handled compared to the previous year.
 
“We registered a significant improvement in 2024, mainly in import and export volumes. Imports increased by 24 percent, while exports increased by 29 percent compared to 2023,” said José Antonio Conteras, Contecon Manzanillo chief executive officer.
 
The growth was driven by the terminal’s state-of-the-art technology and equipment, which allows Contecon Manzanillo to serve customers efficiently; the spacious and modern facilities that ensure safe and flexible cargo handling operations; and above all, a committed team that works around the clock with passion.
 
“As we near the completion of our expansion project, we will have a more modern, efficient terminal ready to face the challenges of international trade,” added Contreras.
