Contecon Manzanillo cleared to operate new yards

Contecon Manzanillo has received approval from authorities to commence operations of the first three yards, which have been recently completed under Phase III of the terminal expansion project initiated in 2022.

Equipped with advanced infrastructure to enhance efficiency in container handling and transit, the new yards add an estimated dynamic capacity of 220,000 TEUs. The expansion further strengthens Contecon Manzanillo’s operational capability and reinforces its role as a major logistics facilitator in the Port of Manzanillo. 

Through this development, Contecon Manzanillo remains dedicated to advancing port infrastructure and supporting the region’s economic growth, ensuring its operations continue to competitiveness in both local and foreign trade.
