Contecon Guayaquil reaffirms commitment to the community

To generate positive impact on society, Contecon Guayaquil (CGSA) launched the first edition of its CSR program “Orange Hearts, I make a difference.” The program aims to motivate employees to be catalysts of change by providing solutions to problems in the community surrounding the port. As part of its 16th anniversary celebration, CGSA donated resources to five beneficiaries – Fundacion Casa de la Paz, which takes care of elderly people who live in poverty and are rescued from the streets; Fundacion Sin Barreras, which provides shelter to abandoned young people and adults with special needs; The Social Project Foundation, which develops social strategies that adapt to organization and satisfy the needs of the community; Unidad Educative Particular Miguel Febres Cordero, which houses six classrooms that need air conditioning; and the Manuela de Santa Cruz Espejo Basic Education public school, which needs infrastructure improvements.
