Contecon Guayaquil opens door to students

Academic tour of students of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences of the UTE University Santo Domingo. A total of 70 students together with teachers learned about Contecon's facilities and daily operations.

Contecon Guayaquil (CGSA) recently had the pleasure of hosting close to a hundred university students on tours of its facilities at the Port of Guayaquil.

Between January and February, students and teachers of the faculties of foreign trade and administrative sciences of the Salesian Polytechnic University, UTE Santo Domingo and International University of Ecuador UIDE Guayaquil, visited the terminal to gain a deeper understanding of the terminal’s operations and the port sector’s significance to Ecuador’s economy.

Contecon encourages students to visit the port to engage with industry professionals and possibly generate interest in the industry. The company also hopes to attract the best talents by generating opportunities for professional growth within the country’s largest port.

Colleges and universities are motivated to participate in terminal tours and learn about the company’s management and culture, which is based on transparency, proximity, responsibility and reliability. These values have enabled Contecon to consolidate its position as Ecuador’s door to the world.
