Contecon Guayaquil introduces Contecon Plus

 

Contecon Guayaquil (CGSA) is transforming the logistics experience for its customers with the launch of Contecon Plus Integral Logistics – a centralized solution that encompasses a wide range of innovative services for exporters and importers. 

Contecon Plus offers integral services ranging from warehousing and distribution to logistics solutions and specialized services – all in one place. The service offering will grow and evolve along with the market to provide even more solutions. 

“With Contecon Plus, we evolved to be an integral solution that goes beyond convention. Our customers will find everything they need to make the development of their business agile and efficient, in one place,” explained Fohodil Galeas, CGSA commercial director.

Contecon Plus offers exporters and importers the following:

  1. Storage and loading services:
    • Container Freight Station with storage facilities to increase logistics efficiency and inventory control.
    • Dedicated empty container depot that is integrated into the terminal.
    • Storage center for import cargo, including tailored solutions, picking and packing transformation, packaging and labeling.
    • Special Economic Development Zone, a customs destination located in the industrial heart of Guayaquil with direct connection to the terminal
    • Bodega Fría, a storage facility for refrigerated cargo that will be operational in the second half of 2024.
  2. Last mile distribution services such as Logipuerto – a cargo delivery service, and Port-to-Door – an innovative solution for delivery of loose and palletized cargo.
  3. CGSApp – a mobile application that provides customers real-time information about their cargo
  4. Carbon-neutral cargo certification. As the first carbon-positive terminal in the region, CGSA extends the environmental responsibility to customers through its carbon-neutral certification.
