CMSA strengthens collaboration with Cuyutlán salt producers

Contecon Manzanillo (CMSA) representatives met with the administrating committee of the Cuyutlán Salt Producers’ Cooperative to discuss environmental conservation and community initiatives.
Francisco Santana, CMSA safety, environment and social responsibility manager, and Cipactli Pinzón, CMSA environmental protection leader, participated in the discussion on the protection and conservation of the mangrove ecosystem, highlighting its role in coastal protection, biodiversity and ecological balance. They also tackled potential joint initiatives, including reforestation, environmental education and strategies for the sustainable management of natural resources.
Collaboration between companies, cooperatives and local communities remains key in advancing sustainability efforts, and CMSA remains committed to strengthening partnerships that promote responsible development and environmental stewardship.
