CMSA inks agreement with education secretariat

Contecon Manzanillo (CMSA) has formalized its Contecon Excellence Scholarship program with the recent signing of a collaboration agreement with the Coordination of Educational Services of the Secretary of Education and Culture of the state of Colima.

The program recognizes the effort and dedication of 17 outstanding sixth grade elementary students in Manzanillo, who were selected in the Children’s Knowledge Olympiad 2021-2022. CMSA believes that investing in education will lead to better opportunities for young people, reduce inequality in society and boost economic development.

“We have to bet on the future, help and recognize the efforts of those who perform well. Let children know that the effort bears fruits,” said Jose Antonio Contreras, CMSA chief executive officer, during the awarding of the scholarships last July.

CMSA will continue to invest in educational scholarships, environmental programs, sports and cultural development as part of its commitment to the community of Colima.
