CGSA supports young innovators
Contecon Guayaquil S.A. (CGSA), through its corporate social responsibility program Orange Hearts, reaffirmed its commitment to education and innovation by supporting Hellen Martínez at the World Robotics Olympiad last November in Turkey.
Hellen, daughter of CGSA truck operator Jose Luis Martinez, won first place in the Ecuadorian Robotics Olympics together with teammates Aliz Pinto and Gabriel Zabala. The team, known as Atom Saif, stood out in the Future Innovator category with their project on environmental protection. They developed an early warning system for forest fires using smoke and flame sensors paired with a GSM module to send real-time alerts.
Their efforts earned them first place in the national tournament, giving them the opportunity to represent Ecuador in the global competition.
Contecon Guayaquil will continue to support its stakeholders and promote opportunities that drive innovation.
